What Some of the Cruisers from Previous Art Across the Oceans Cruises Had to Say:

Jennifer

Wow! Thank you doesn't seem enough for the wealth of knowledge freely given by each instructor. What was so pleasant about this cruise was the way each instructor made you feel welcomed, even after the 1000th question. Would I recommend this cruise? Yes, but with hesitation that there might not be a spot left for me!!!

I had a great time on the clay cruise in 2007. Everything was well organized, the teachers were very informative, helpful and lots of fun. We didn't want for anything. We brought our own pasta machines and everything else was supplied. We were given a fantastic goody bag on the first day with lots of great supplies. The ship was beautiful, service excellent and food just the way you want it. I'm looking forward to the next cruise in April 2008! My daughter, sister and niece are going to join me as well.

I have so many wonderful memories of this cruise and I can't think of any way it could have been better. Wonderful instructors pushed our limits to learn new things (even for those of us "seasoned" clayers), and we all became one big happy family. Learning new claying techniques just add to the fun. It was terrific meeting so many new friends and sharing information. I'm anxious to start saving for the next one.

We had an absolutely WONDERFUL time on the cruise!! The scenery was delightful, the weather- perfect, the folks were divine, and the instructors were stellar!!

As a person new to polymer clay I was not only impressed with how much I learned but how welcome I felt even though I previously knew no one on the cruise including my roommate.

The instructors were so giving and knowledgeable that one would have had to be a moron not to have enjoyed everything. The cruise itself was really enjoyable, but most important was the comraderie among all of the cruisers. As the oldest clayer on board, it was interesting that everyone ignored my age and made me feel like one of them. It most certainly is something everyone doing polymer should take advantage of. I am looking forward to being one of you again this coming cruise. It is amazing the things I have done with polymer, that's what came of being with such talented instructors. Can't wait!

Fun! Fun! Fun! I enjoyed all the activities and meeting such talented people. The teachers were great and I learned so much from their classes. The freebies alone were well worth the trip. I would do it again!

I convinced my best friend, Jane, to come with me and was a little concerned as to how it would work for her. I needn't have worried one bit - as she thorougly enjoyed each and every minute! Everyone in our group was so friendly and willing to help each other - I loved it when Kathy took off the "wings" on my (35 year old) pasta machine so it would be easier to clean! From the very beginning, the instructors made it clear that we were all a "family" and then proceeded to make themselves so accesible. We ate together, played together, clayed together and laughed over and over together. It was hard to leave when the ship docked! I've used my goodie bag gifts several times, and I have the confidence now to experiement on my own. That's what I came away with - from being a "newbie" to becoming a poly-addict! I'm thrilled that the next Cruise is scheduled so soon - count me in!

I decided to go at the last moment and scammed a room with a view all by myself. Greedy gus that I am. Had a blast helping out the first night of the cruise stuffing the goody bags and making new friends. The making of new friends continued through the whole cruise, not only in the classes but just hanging on the ship. New clayers, old clayers and in between clayers...didn't matter, everyone was willing to share tips and tricks, help each other out....even sharing lobster tails :D I say, if you have a chance to go...grab it with all the gusto you can. It will be an experience you will never forget.
